How to Use the Catalog: My APL Account

What is My APL?

My APL is your account that shows your checkouts, holds and more.

It includes physical items plus OverDrive / Libby digital items. For other digital checkouts like hoopla, log in to the collection through its app or the Virtual Library.

Find My APL

From the Library homepage, select the red My Account button  (OR)
From the Library catalog, in the top right, select the red Log In / My APL button or your username / initial.

My APL Menu

This screenshot shows several sections of the My APL menu with notes. 1. The Log in / My APL button: If logged in, the red button will show your username or initial. 2. My Library Dashboard: See a bit of everything in one place. 3. Checked Out: See Checked Out items, their due dates and the Renew option to try to get more time. 3. On Hold: See On Hold items, your place in line and whether holds are available. 4. Fees: See Fees and pay online. 5. For Later Shelf: Keep track of items by adding them to Shelves. 6. Lists: See your Lists or create one to share your interests with others. 7. My Profile: Add details to your Profile (optional). 8. My Settings: See or change Settings: Privacy, Library Card number, Email, Username, Saved searches, Card expiration date, Hold pickup location.In the top right of the catalog, click the red button that says Log In / My APL. If you see your username or initial, you are logged in.

Choose the option you want—if needed, you'll be prompted to log in and then will go directly to the section you chose.
