Visit one of our 20 Library Locations, including Teen Central, which specializes in services for teens age 13-18, or our used bookstore, Recycled Reads, where you can get YA books for 50 cents.
Anyone (including teens) can reserve a meeting room at a branch, or a shared learning room at the Central Library for free. See meeting room use policies for limitations.

Teen Volunteers are so valued at the library! Whether you want to help with kids programs, shelve books, or help start a new club for teens, visit our volunteer page and apply during the volunteer windows there, or reach out to staff at your nearest location.
The library hosts paid interns every summer through various City and County sponsored internship programs. Find out more about these opportunities on the Youth and Family Services site for the City of Austin. Annual application window for summer is the end of January through March.
