The Teen Editorial Board of ATXyz is hard at work on issue 02. Teens age 13-18 can submit your original work before the November 30 Deadline hereATXyz (the Austin, Texas Youth Zine) launched in summer 2020, and will be published each semester.

ATXyz Teen Editorial Board

Hi! I'm an 8th grader and I'm part of the editorial board for the ATXyz magazine! I joined because I wanted to try something new that would allow me to express my thoughts creatively. I was assigned this project for the first summer issue and it was really fun, so I'm back for the fall! Some things I like to do are sing, play soccer and basketball, make art, and listen to music.

There are thousands of historical figures whose stories have been erased from history books. Many of these figures are Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA+ people, and Women (and Womxn) from all places and spaces. 

Help us fill the gap.
