• Audio Archive is an "audio and MP3 library that hosts over 2 million free digital audio files," with music, news and poetry.
• FMA is an interactive library of high-quality, legal audio downloads from WFMU radio.
• Hype Machine compiles music bloggers and the music they write about.  Listen for free or pay to download.
• Internet Archives is an online public library of live recordings available for royalty-free, no-cost public downloads.
• National Jukebox has historical recordings from the Library of Congress.
