Magazine Databases

Searching by topic? Try a database, which will allow you to search across hundreds of magazines at once. These databases contain general magazines and may be mixed with other content (newspapers, scholarly journals, etc.).

Looking for magazines in a particular subject? See Databases by Subject or check our Information Guides for advice.

Magazines by Location

Central Library has the most current magazines. For local historical magazines, check the Austin History Center.

For current magazines, we typically keep the past 6 months to 2 years. If you need a specific date, call that location in advance, and we can check the shelf.
