Texas Birth Certificates

Order a Texas birth certificate online, by mail or in person. Valid photo ID is required in person and a photocopy of an ID is required with a mailed application. If you know your Social Security number and your Texas Drivers License or ID Card number AND this card's Audit number, you can order your certificate online. A credit, debit or pre-paid card (like a Visa gift card) is required for the online payment.

Voter Registration Card
A voter registration card is a form of ID that can be used to obtain other IDs (plus, registration allows you to vote). Complete, print and mail an application. You can also get an application at any Austin Public Library location.
US Passports & International Travel
Renew or apply for a US passport.
Enhanced Library Card
Enhanced Library Card for adults (18 or older) that includes your Library Card number, photograph, address, date of birth, the expiration date, and a scannable barcode.
